Trillium-Withrow Park Pantry

The Withrow Park Pantry group has been working since the fall of 2006 to make a community garden a reality.

Part of the process included meeting with the community on the evening of May 16 at the Bain Co-op Community Centre. Despite the rain, 30 people attended. Following comments from the organizers, Toronto-Danforth MPP Peter Tabuns spoke about the value of community food gardens, and the best way to involve the community.
