The map isn't entirely accurate because we stayed overnight at friends who had power on the west side of Macdonell near Wright. On the map, this area is in the grey shaded area. In 2003 the same neighbours had power a couple of days before we did. They speculate they have better power service because they are closer to the fire station on Lansdowne, but that's just a pure guess.
