Greenwood Rink: Budget: 2010: $100,000 (consultant, i.e. architect?) 2011: $1,500,000 2012: $490,000 All funded by the City (no provincial or federal funds) Scope of work: The scope of work includes rehabilitation of the following: foundation block, structural concrete, exterior doors, windows, sealers and caulking, paint and finishes, roofing, soffit and fascia, interior doors, flooring, ceilings, interior stairs, interior equipment, mechanical, forced air heating, water service and piping, plumbing fixtures, motor controls and switching, chillers, ventilation, ammonia detector, condenser, compressors, brine heating and cooling, brine pumps, insulation, dasher boards, header trench, driveway, walkways, site lighting fixtures, fencing, upgrades to the change rooms, and barrier free washroom access.

State of good repair

a city state-of-good-repair chart dated April 17 2008. It shows the following funds allocated for Greenwood Rink: 2010 $575,000, 2011 $350,000 and 2012 $1,740,000. So the city has known about this work for some time.
