you and I and others all know that public health has no jurisdiction to alter programming in this way. A sad day when games like this are being played, and there's no one interested in stopping them.

We are following the direction of the Health Inspector who noted in his report that there should always be 2 attendants watching bathers.

This is the same Health Inspector who raised several concerns with the Wading pool at Dufferin Grove.

On Thursday August 9th, I had a discussion with the Inspector Mr. Zambrowicz where I asked for clarity on a number of his concerns listed on the inspection reports. To date I have heard nothing but will advise further as information becomes available.

hello Gary,

I am told that your coordinator caught one of the rec/wading pool staff person setting up a crafts table beside the MacGregor wading pool on Sunday. There was another wading pool attendant watching the pool, which had no children in it. Your coordinator gave the rec/wading pool staff person this remarkable note (attached).

So is it the case that public health has directed aquatics that TWO wading pool staff must do nothing other than look at the wading pool, no matter what?

Please confirm. I have cc'd the park user who observed this transaction, as well as the MacGregor PT rec program coordinator, please keep them on your response.
