MacGregor Park
Hi Sunday Staffers,
Just a quick email to bring you up to speed on MacGregor developments...
1. Matt put an orange extension cord through the window , which stays in the lock box at night. 2. On Saturday we got a coffee maker, paper cups, and coffee from Dufferin. Ava bought Popsicles from No Frills using money earned from juice and water sales last week at MacGregor and voilą, MacGregor Cafe, was even closer to being fully functional.
3. Mayssan has the key to the building.
4. There is a float of sorts in the fridge with change and popsicle sticks for stirring coffee. There are paper cups as well. The coffee and sugar are in the fridge.
5. The Popsicles are 30 cents each, the coffee and the water bottles sell for a dollar. We used up the small milk container yesterday, so you will need more milk.
6. We have a usable women's bathroom. It is cleaner and in working order, with toilet paper and soap.
7. The park radio is on top of the fridge charging.
Use the orange extension cord coming through the window for making coffee. It is in the Rubbermaid unit, locked up. Ava and I put the coffeemaker next to the Rubbermaid unit on a bucket, though the coffee could be brewed in the locked storage unit while staff go about other business or on top of the fridge. You will find the coffeemaker sitting on a chair next to the fridge, in the building. The KRUPS carafe is a thermos, and thus will keep warm behind the counter. There should be soap on the fridge, paper towels(check 2nd drawer unit in storage shed), and a large water dispenser to create a public health approved outdoor kitchen.
Enjoy your shift. Marina
