Campbell's campfires

Most of Campbell Park's Campfires have been staff-led. Recreation Staff have been cooking food and making space for others. On occasion neighbourhood volunteers were able to take the training and could host a cooking fire in the park.

As with Dufferin these neighbours became the eyes on the park creating a safe lively space shared by all park users.Campfires at Dufferin Grove Park are different than the campfires at other city parks because it is a campfire program. If you and your friends want a campfire at the park, you’ve taken on a park volunteer job: you’ll be helping create a lively space that welcomes all.
