Summer 2014
Friday Garden Program
The Garden wound down with an October 24th Pizza Party. Two pre-schoolers made a potato pizza and a large pizza ghost. Toppings from the gardens included our Campbell potato and tomato harvests, as well as two little squashes! A lovely cucumber courtesy of park neighbour Mafalda across the street added to the fun.
Regulars including: toddlers, parents and pre-teens showed up for a fun time.
This October 31, Halloween Night the Garden will be finally put to bed for the winter and seeds from last year will be saved. Thanks everyone for a lovely garden session!
Winter programming begins the first weekend in December, and Saturday September 6 there will be a lovely rinkhouse supper and the usual pleasure skating from 3:30-6:30pm.
