Thanks to everyone for all your work to make the carnival a success:

• John Parker, Vanessa, Kathleen Wynne, Rob Oliphant and Mazhar: thank you for helping us build community here in Thorncliffe, for supporting our winter carnival and for the donations of pins, magnets and flags
• Victoria: thank you for the donations of cups and coffee, we are so thankful for your continued investment in Thorncliffe
• Roger: thanks for the straw and the benches and for sending your staff to help us, we really made good use of their pick-up truck!
• Wendy: thanks for all your creative ideas and resourcing of so many supplies, and for the very popular prize draw!
• Eddie: thanks for the police horses and "Pa-troll" and for bringing the sound system
• Anna, Jutta, Lea and Jennie: your generous offer to make a fire in our park started this whole carvnival, thank you!
• Asiya: thanks for purchasing the food, preparing the tickets and handing out hundreds and hundreds of flyers
• Sabina, Sadia, Jyotika and Asiya: thanks for standing out in the cold and handing out the tickets and food: your gifts definitely made our neighbours warm and happy!
• Marijana: thanks for being our MC and for being so willing to partner with us and support us in so many ways on this crazy idea
• Tasha: thanks for organizing the volunteers, distributing the flyers and for helping us plan the event
• Adam: the obstacle course was awesome, you were so flexible with our crazy weather!
• Azam: thanks for all your work in helping us set-up and clean-up, and for bringing the music, who would have guessed that your top fan would be an elderly gentleman!
• Melanie: thanks for sacrificing your fingers to frostbite while building some amazing icecube sculptures
• Nate, Adam and Rachel: thanks for making the scavenger hunt a hit (with a little help from Dollarama!)

When I look at this list of everyone who contributed, I am so grateful for all of your contributions and the small oasis of community that we were able to build on a sunny Sunday. Please forgive me if I have forgotten anyone!
